It’s hard to describe how a band has touched your life, especially after a few drinks, but I must try. REM always held that melodic and passionate place in my heart, the place you could always go when things were uncertain, and the harmonies in particular always captured me. My dear friend Patterson released a song today with one Mr. Mike Mills, who made those amazing harmonies happen – and I could not be more proud. Bless ‘em both.

Oh yeah – and FUCK WAL-MART!
