Okami
Matt has been playing my favorite game ever, artistically – Okami. It’s gorgeous and relies heavily on Japanese mythology for the storyline. Fuckin’ love that kind of stuff. The art style is heavily inspired by Japanese watercolor painting, so I never get tired of watching it. The monsters are awesome, like the three weasels carrying scythes that link together into one giant razor-sharp wheel of death. Lots of masks and crazy costumes too, and the art is gorgeous. YouTube video in no way does this game justice, but WordPress won’t let me post nice ones from gamevideos.com… (booooo!)
I’ve been thinking about getting a new tattoo, and would love to somehow steal the sun that appears when Amaterasu draws a circle in the sky.
